International network
Think global, act local: that is the principle on which CREDEA, the international network of credit insurance brokers, was founded. The association is active in 27 countries across five continents with a client base of more than 1,500 clients and €75 billion of global credit insurance turnover.
Our clients benefit from both excellent service across all continents and, through our partner contacts, are able to access insurance options internationally not just from the domestic market. A good example of this are the innovative products offered by the British market or the specialist products offered through Lloyd’s of London which are just not available on the German market.
Members of this network, co-founded in 2011 by GFL, are all owner-managed brokerage companies specialized in credit insurance. The association’s rules and regulations specify that members must meet rigorous requirements with regard to client service and knowledge transfer. Each of the brokerage companies has an excellent reputation in their domestic country and a depth of knowledge about their national market and providers.
Similar to GFL, every owner has built their own specialist business after gaining a wealth of credit insurance experience at some of the biggest insurers such as Euler Hermès, Atradius or Coface. As a result, each specialist broker has in-depth knowledge in their area thereby allowing other members to benefit through a regular exchange of knowledge.
